The “Your opening hours” section shows a list of rows: a day or period on the left, the matching hours on the right.
How to fill them in
-
Open “Your opening hours”
In the editor’s left panel.
-
Group identical days
A single “Monday to Friday” row beats five identical rows.
-
Fill in “Day or period” and “Hours”
For example “Saturday” and “8 am – 1 pm”.
-
State the closures too
A “Sunday” / “Closed” row saves a wasted trip.
If you take emergency calls outside those hours, say so in the “Additional note” rather than widening your published hours.
Avoid Announcing “24/7” without being able to answer at night is the fastest way to lose a client: they call, nobody picks up, and they call someone else.
Remember to update these hours when they change — holidays, time off. Wrong hours are worse than no hours.
Example Monday to Friday: 8 am – 5 pm. Saturday: 8 am – 1 pm. Sunday: closed.
Worth remembering
- Clearly separate the days you are open from the days you are closed.
- Only claim round-the-clock availability if you really do answer at any hour.
Avoid Announcing "24/7" without answering at night: the customer calls, nobody picks up, trust is gone.
