The “Your contact details” section carries four fields: phone, WhatsApp, email address and physical address. The phone and the address are among the seven completeness criteria.
How to fill them in
-
Open “Your contact details”
In the editor’s left panel.
-
Write the number with its international code
For example +243 for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Without it, a client abroad cannot reach you.
-
Fill in WhatsApp separately
Even if it is the same number: the WhatsApp button opens a conversation directly.
-
Give an address people can find
District, street, number, a known landmark. “Kinshasa” alone leads nobody to your door.
Call yourself from another phone after publishing: it is the only way to be sure the number shown is the right one.
Avoid A number that never answers costs more than no site at all. If you change number, change it here the same day.
These details also feed your hero buttons: if you set up a “Call” or “Open WhatsApp” button, the number used is the one you enter in that button.
Worth remembering
- Check that the WhatsApp number is the one you really read.
- State your city, district or the area you cover.
- Read the email address once more before publishing.
Avoid Showing a full home address when customers are not meant to come there.
