Your frequent questions

Frequently asked questions answer in advance what you are asked ten times a week — and save you just as many calls.

The “Your frequently asked questions” section shows a list of expandable questions. The visitor clicks the one that concerns them and reads the answer.

Every question your site answers is a call you will not have to take to say what you said yesterday.

Finding the right questions

Do not invent them: use the ones you are actually asked. For one week, note every question that comes up on the phone or on WhatsApp. You will have five or six that cover the essentials.

  • Roughly how much does it cost?
  • Which areas do you travel to?
  • How long is the wait?
  • Do you charge for the callout?
  • What payment methods do you accept?

Adding them

  1. Open “Your frequently asked questions”

    In the editor’s left panel.

  2. Click “Add”

A question / answer pair appears.

  3. Write the question the way a client asks it

In their words, not in your trade vocabulary.

  4. Answer straightforwardly

An evasive answer is worth less than no answer at all.

Answer the awkward questions too — price, lead times. A client who finds the answer with you does not go looking elsewhere.

Example Question: "Do you work at weekends?" Answer: "Yes, Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm, by appointment."

Worth remembering

  • Use their words, not the vocabulary of your trade.
  • Four to six questions are enough.
