The “Your hero” section occupies the top of the home page. It carries four things: a small line above the title, the main title, an introductory sentence, and a large image. Two buttons can be added.
A visitor decides within seconds whether they are in the right place. Those seconds happen here.
What each field does
- “Main site title” — state your trade and your city. This answers “am I in the right place?”.
- “Introductory sentence” — say what you do, in a sentence your client would understand on the phone.
- “Large hero image” — a real photo of your work, framed at 16:9.
- “Primary button” and “Secondary button” — choose what happens on click: call, open WhatsApp, send an email, or jump to a section.
Setting up the buttons
-
Write the button label
A verb works well: “Request a quote”, “Book an appointment”.
-
Choose the action
The “On click” menu offers: do nothing, open WhatsApp, call, send an email, go to a section, open a website.
-
Fill in the value
Depending on the action, the field asks for a WhatsApp number, a phone number, an email address or a section.
-
Untick “Show this button” if needed
A button with no useful destination is better hidden.
The WhatsApp button is often the most effective: it opens a conversation directly, without the client having to write down your number.
Avoid The hero image is the one people look at most. A blurry photo, a screenshot or an image found online is spotted immediately — and it casts doubt on everything else.

Worth remembering
- State your trade, then your city or the area you cover.
- Add what you do best, in a few words.
- Pick a clear photo showing your work, your team or your premises.
Avoid Blurry photos, screenshots, images crowded with text, or pictures unrelated to your work.
