The editor saves by itself shortly after each entry, and shows “Changes saved”. There is no second publishing step: a live site always serves its most recent version. If your screen shows you something else, here is why.
1. Your site is not published yet
This is the most common cause. A draft site edits normally, but no visitor sees it — and neither do you at its public address. Check its state under “My site”.
2. Your browser is showing a page from memory
Phones happily keep a copy of visited pages. Reload by pulling the screen down, or open your address in a private browsing window: you will see the real version.
3. The section is not shown by your template
Each template shows a defined set of sections. You can fill in a section your current template does not display: the content is kept and reappears if you move to a template that shows it.
4. The section lacks what it needs
A section missing its required items is not displayed at all, rather than shown half empty. Complete it and it appears.
5. The message “Could not save” appeared
There, the change really did not go through: the connection dropped during the save. Check your network, come back to the section and enter the change again.
Avoid Do not close the editor straight after typing on a weak connection. Wait until you see “Changes saved”.
To check what your clients really see, open your public address from another phone, on mobile data rather than your Wi-Fi.
