Proposals arrive in “My missions”. Each shows the topic the client chose, the mode, and how long you have to answer.
Accepting or declining
You have 6 hours to answer. Declining is a normal decision: better to turn down quickly a mission you cannot honour than to let it expire. With no answer within 48 hours of payment, the client is refunded — and that is a client lost for everyone.
The slot is not set by you
Once the mission is accepted, administration fixes the time and tells both parties. That single point stops the same hour being promised twice, and spares you having to negotiate an appointment.
On the day
-
Prepare
Open the mission sheet: the topic, the trade and the client’s site are there. Five minutes of reading before beats thirty minutes of groping during.
-
Start the session
From the sheet, when it actually begins. That is what records it as in progress.
-
Guide
The client holds the keyboard. Your job is to guide, not to do it for them: they must be able to carry on alone the next day.
-
Record the client’s context
A separate form gathers their starting state. It is deliberately separate from closing: a session must never stay open because a form is incomplete.
-
Declare the session finished
The request then moves to awaiting the client’s confirmation.
What follows
The client confirms, or confirmation becomes automatic after 3 days. Your commission is then recorded in your earnings.
Avoid Never declare finished a session that did not happen. The client’s confirmation, their right to report a problem during the 3 days that follow, and the event log all make it visible, and it means suspension.
Finish by giving the client one precise thing to do alone before the end of the week. That is what separates a memorable session from a pleasant hour.
