The “Appearance” group, at the bottom of the editor’s left panel, carries the primary colour, the accent colour and the logo.
The template you chose already provides a coherent layout: spacing, text sizes, arrangement. Appearance only tunes it to your business.
The settings
- “Primary colour” — for titles and important elements. Reuse the colour of your logo or your shopfront.
- “Accent colour” — for buttons. It must contrast with the primary one so it gets noticed.
- “Logo” — optional. Without one, your business name is shown instead, which works perfectly well.
Uploading your logo
-
Open the “Appearance” group
At the bottom of the left panel.
-
Click the “Logo” field
Choose a PNG or JPG file of at most 4 MB.
-
Check the preview
The logo appears in the header. See whether it stays legible when small.
A logo on a transparent background, in PNG format, fits in better than a square image on white.
Avoid Two colours are enough. A site using five looks less serious, not richer.
Worth remembering
- The main colour carries the header and headings; the second highlights buttons.
- The combinations offered stay readable — that is why the choice is framed.
