Until your site is published, you are the only one who can see it. Publishing makes it reachable at its public address, and lets you share the link and the QR code.
What you need before publishing
Three conditions must be met. The “My site” page tells you which one is missing, if any.
- Your email address must be confirmed — a message was sent when you registered.
- Your site address must be chosen.
- The essential information about your business must be filled in.
Publishing
-
Open “My site”
From your client space menu.
-
Read through the completeness journey
It lists what is done and what remains. Each step leads straight to the field concerned.
-
Click “Publish my site”
The message “Congratulations, your site is online!” confirms.
-
Check your published site
Open its address in another tab, and look at it from a phone too.
Publishing starts your trial period: the 30 days that follow are free. After that, the subscription is 2 $ per month. You can stop whenever you like; your content is kept.
After publishing, have someone who does not know your trade read it through. They will spot the mistakes and vagueness you no longer see.
Publishing is not final. You can edit your site at any time — every change appears immediately — and you can take it off the web from the same page.
Worth remembering
- You can change your site at any time after publishing.
Check before continuing
- Your business name is spelled correctly.
- The phone number has been checked.
- Your introduction has been proofread.
- Your photos are sharp and represent you well.
- You have looked at the preview of your site.
