Technical engineering office

Reliable studies to secure your projects.

Turning construction, infrastructure and development ideas into measurable technical solutions: calculations, plans, feasibility, compliance and follow-up.

The office

A calculation note commits more than a pretty plan.

Engineering Studies produces the technical studies that secure a project: structure, foundations, services, feasibility and regulatory compliance. Every deliverable is signed and engages our liability.

We work for architects, construction companies and project owners. Our role is to say what holds, what does not hold, and at what cost it will hold.

  • Signed calculation notes
  • BIM modelling
  • Coordinated soil survey
  • Inspection visits

Our method

Three principles on which the reliability of a study rests.

An engineering office is judged on what happens once the concrete is poured.

01

No study without soil data

We refuse to size foundations without a geotechnical survey. It is the leading cause of structural failure.

02

Usable deliverables

Calculation notes, reinforcement drawings and bar schedules delivered in a format the contractor can use directly.

03

Inspection during construction

Visits at key stages to check that the execution matches the plans. An unchecked study protects against nothing.

Our fields

Technical expertise from calculation to inspection.

Full studies or one-off assignments, for architects, contractors and project owners.

Calculations and technical drawings

Structural sizing, calculation notes, formwork and reinforcement drawings, steel bar schedules.

From $1,500 3 to 8 weeks

3D BIM modelling

Coordinated digital model of structure, services and finishing trades, with clash detection before construction.

On quotation 4 to 10 weeks

Technical site inspection

Visits at key stages, compliance checks and signed inspection reports.

From $400 / visit Duration of the works
The team

Seven engineers and draughtsmen.

Every calculation note is checked by a second engineer before signing.

Ir. Solange Mabika

Technical director

A structural engineer, she signs the calculation notes and leads the technical inspection assignments.

Ir. Fabrice Ilunga

Reinforced concrete engineer

He sizes the structures and produces the reinforcement drawings and bar schedules.

Rachel Bosange

BIM draughtswoman

She builds the digital models and handles clash detection between trades.

Our rates

Frequently asked questions

Before entrusting us with a study.

Is a soil survey required?
Yes, systematically for new builds. We coordinate the assignment with an approved laboratory if you have not yet had one carried out.
Do you work from architect's plans?
Yes, that is the usual case. We can also come in earlier, on a sketch, to check structural feasibility before the plans are finalised.
Do your calculation notes engage your liability?
Yes. They are signed by an engineer and engage the office. That is precisely what sets a study apart from a mere opinion.
Reviews

What our clients say.

“The BIM model revealed twelve clashes between the structure and the services before the first spade went in. That many reworks avoided.”

Cabinet d'architecture Ngoy R+5 building

“They refused to size our foundations without a soil survey. In hindsight, they were right: the ground was far worse than stated.”

M. Léon T. Project owner

“The reinforcement drawings were clear enough for the steel fixer to work without calling us. That had never happened before.”
